Pitta was far deeper into the Northern mountain range than she was used to travelling, but it had been well worth it to find a spot with deep enough snow this time of year. She took a deep breath and admired that afternoon’s handiwork. Sitting daintily atop roughly six inches of untouched snow was a circle of bright, blue hummingbird feathers. There were six small pieces of jade that were carved into perfect spheres placed meticulously around the outside edge. Sitting in the center was a bundle of yew roots that had been buried in salt for exactly 77 hours and tied together with twine. The witch smiled and looked over her notes to make sure she wasn’t missing anything. It wasn’t like her to go off the script and deviate from the experiment order that Bannak laid out for her, but something had been bugging her lately. If she was supposed to hold onto her magic when she died, why in the world had it been transferred to her in the first place when Bannak kicked the bucket? She hadn’t had any luck tracking his soul down in the afterlife, and of course Rai hadn’t been of any help. It was time to take matters into her own hands. She was going to get his spirit to come to her. The witch stood exactly ten feet away from her summoning circle and held a bell made of pure silver out in front of her. She briefly cleared her throat and recited the memorized incantation. “Bridge the gaps of space and time!" "Take heed as I sound this chime!" "Show yourself at my command!" "Slip into this mortal land!” Each spoken line was followed by a ring of the bell. For a moment, everything was still. The pieces of jade flashed yellow, then blue, then fading back into their original deep shade of green. Pitta nearly lost her balance as the ground quaked beneath her. At the center of the circle, reality ripped itself open and swallowed the yew roots before opening just wide enough to also encompass the jade and feathers. A booming voice rumbled forth from the rift. “AHH! AFTER 10,000 YEARS I’M FREE! IT’S TIME TO CONQUER EARTH!”Pitta felt her eye twitch as she stared at the portal. Okay, she had never actually met the guy, but she was pretty damned sure that that wasn’t Bannak. Her suspicions were confirmed when a massive hand with large claws and covered in ruby scales emerged from the portal and started feeling its way around in the snow. Thankfully, whatever the hand was attached to was too large to follow it’s appendage. The witch pinched the bridge of her nose and let out a groan. “Oh for the love of… WRONG NUMBER!” She stomped her way over to the opened portal, summoned her broom to her side, and started violently trying to smack the reptilian arm back to wherever the hell it was trying to claw its way out of. Eventually it retreated, allowing the rift to seal itself shut. Pitta sank to her knees in defeat and furiously scribbled down some notes. That certainly could have gone better...

Having been stuck asleep in a tree that was located higher up the mountain from where this strange person was located, Sam would slowly wake up, a blanket falling off his face as he would bite down on it to not lose it before trying to stuff it into the box that was used to keep him locked, unable to pry himself free unless somebody would turn the key that was at the front.
Falling down from the tree that he was stuck in, Sam would grunt pained complaints as he would end up face first down into the snow before flipping himself over and noticing that he was starting to slide downwards towards the woman. Amazed at first that she was able to make a portal to hell as his excitement was growing almost instantly to an enormous size, he wouldn't even dare to hold back the excitement as he made an audible squee~
But as the box slowly started to slide down past the woman, listed with the words "Time-out box for idiots" in awkward handwriting as if somebody was willing to lock a man up in a tree on a frozen mountain for however long this boy could have been stuck.
"Hello, Honey, is it just me, or are you a demon's trap? Because I am getting stuck to you~?" He spoke before the box would spray him with water as he would start to complain audibly.
"Oh come on! Why did Alexander and Naomi lock me in this box just because I made a few perverted jokes!? Is a man not allowed to use magic to create some comedy!?" He spoke, trying to pry himself free before almost breaking out in tears.
"Can you please help me, I just want to be free again, I have not had any food for the last two days... I may be durable but this is starting to become horrible..."

"This is the place...", Silica spoke to herself as she arrived on a ledge, overlooking a pristine snow lined valley. Something had drawn her here, something almost primal. Apparently she had missed the show prior, but from the looks of the aftermath it was something quite intriguing.
Riddled with curiosity her heel hit the edge of the ridge and begun to slide down the rocky side of the mountainside cliff, her heart racing with anticipation and hoping she wouldn't fall midway down.

Pitta grunted as she hastily scrawled out the last few words into her small notebook. Either she didn’t understand Bannak’s instructions as well as she thought she did, she missed something entirely,or there was something bigger at play here. Technically the ritual hadn’t exactly failed, but it sure as hell hadn’t brought forth her intended target. The witch just wasn’t sure if that was a good sign or a bad sign yet. The notebook was poofed away with a snap of her gloved fingers. However, as she stood up and brushed the snow from her dark pants, a box with a rather curious label on the side and what looked like a man trapped within came sliding through the snow until it landed just past her position. The fuck? Pitta stared dumbfounded as the trapped man started to speak, and… Wait… Was he HITTING on her? The woman opened her mouth to speak, but the box that held the man drenched him with water before she could form any words, seemingly in response to his attempt at flirting. And then came the mention of Alexander. Oh lord, did he mean that Alexander? Sure, it was a common enough name that it was most likely just a coincidence. Unfortunately, fate had the habit of looking at situations like this and laughing in Pitta’s face about them. This was too much to process. The witch violently shook her head and tried to focus her thoughts. ”Okay, I don’t know who the hell you are, but let’s ixnay on the oneyhay, capisce?. The name’s Pitta,” she introduced herself with a sigh while looking over the ‘time out’ box he was stuck in. This Naomi and Alexander may have possibly had a good reason for locking him in there, but the witch was far too much of a softie to just leave him like that. It looked kinda pathetic. Pitta turned the key sticking out of the front until she heard the definitive ‘click’ of the mechanism giving way. She then took a couple of steps back to give him some room to get out. She also held out a hand to him, snapping her fingers and causing a simple scone to appear in her outstretched palm. ”Here. The flavor’s a bit bland, but it should be enough to keep you going for now,” she said as she waited for him to take the confection. The witch had been a little too focused on her tea to worry about the flavor of the accompanying snacks just yet. One day she would be able to create a spread that would make celebrated chefs green with envy. For now it was just baby steps. ”So anyway, I gotta ask the obvious. Who are you? What are you doing all the way out here? What’s with the box? And…” Pitta started to ask rapid fire until she heard another commotion behind her. The witch tossed a look over her shoulder to see a young woman with light hair sliding down a cliff face in their direction. Two unfamiliar faces all the way out here at the same time? That was new. Pitta turned back to the man and pointed a thumb in the young woman’s direction. ”...And is that a friend of yours?” Sam Aeil Silica

"Oh, gosh, The one coming running is a fun one!" He would say, grabbing the treat and chewing it contently, not caring for how bland it was as the salty flavor from his tears overflowing would be enough to make it a divine meal at this point as he would sob for a moment as he clutched his fingers onto the last remaining scraps before swallowing deeply.
Panting to let the energy pulse through his body again, to get his strength going again before stumbling against the box, knowing that his own limbs did not have the energy right now to do a few antics.
"Name is Sam, Lazy demon turned into a human via being backstabbed by a few sluglike... No wait, Namekians are fine, what would I call somebody I hate?" The boy spoke, abnormally short compared to most adults as he would tilt his head, pondering this for a moment while then looking at Silica.
"Oh right, she was there when I gave her a potion to turn people into larger people as she seemed dissatisfied with her sizes you know? But after getting a mouthful, knowingly of course with an untested potion. Like, come on, I even did the demonic sales pitch and she left me hanging and dumped it into the lake... Maybe a reason why in some cities you now hear of business mermaids." As he would manifest a small potion within his fingers before flipping it around between his Thumb, index, and middle finger upon which he lost control and had it spin away into the distance where a Birch turned into a Rowan tree. "Her name is Silica, by the way."
"I was locked away in the box because I tried to cure a new infection but accidentally made a potion that turned your underwear into badgers along with curing them..." Before he would then return the assault of questions that were given to him.
"Now, May I ask why you have been doing a ritual that... Oh my gosh, where did you get notes to do such a carefully planned ritual?! This is absolutely fantastical!" He would then state as his eyes widened in shock, his tone turning to one of absolute wonder as he would shake his hands like a child, a few content little noises escaping his throat.
"Please! Can you tell me some of the other fun stuff you can do!? I haven't seen somebody who knows the arts in such a detailed way in a while! This may be the most fun and I may have a chance to help figure out how to use this little item or what it is!" As he rummaged through his pockets, showing multiple inner parts of his outfit lined with knives for battle itself as he would then pull out a strange skull.
One that Sam himself didn't know what it could be, but possibly Pitta could know! Sam had to try!

Silica's eyes narrowed as she drew nearer, the woman standing in the clearing seemed curious to the pale haired girl, but the other drew a modicum of her ire. "Sam, do I want to know how and why you are in a box, on the mountain, over five hundred miles from Hope House?" Silica couldn't help but sigh lightly at the notion of the imp doing something to draw this much of a punishment.
Not giving Sam even a moment to reply the young girl turned to the sorceress nearby with a curious smile of appraisal. "I'm Silica Dyer, I'm guessing you are the one tampering with the veil here?" Silica's lips curls into a grin of almost sinister intent as she glanced over the snow a few times. "I must admit I'm curious what magical source you are drawing from because it seems abslutely immense!" Whatever the girl's prior intentions, her curiosity consumed her judgement as she practically jumped with anticipation at the woman's reply.
While she waited she passed Sam a cursory glance, hoping the box had him a bit more restrained than was necessary while she had her back turned.

After hastily devouring the offered scone, the man introduced himself as a demon-turned-human named Sam. He prattled on about potions that altered size and… turned fish into ‘business mermaids’? What was he on about? The guy obviously had a few screws loose as demonstrated by how he whipped out a potion for a visual aid only to quickly fumble it and sent it flying against a nearby tree, completely changing its genetic makeup in the process. Sam also introduced the woman that was continuing to draw closer as Silica. His explanation as to how he ended up locked away in that box was somehow even more dumbfounding. How someone could get such outlandish side effects on what sounded like a simple concoction was beyond her. How in the world do you go from mending diseased tissue to turning someone’s undergarments into a group of sentient mammals at the same time?! And what would happen if you were to take such a potion while going commando? Pitta suddenly stopped and violently shook her head. No. She wasn’t going down that road. This encounter was already ridiculous enough. Pitta listened to his questions and cautiously took the offered skull. However, before she could actually answer any of them, Silica finally drew near enough to join the conversation. She opened up with a jab about his current situation, but the very end of it was what made the witch’s eye twitch. Hope House? Oh dear. He had meant ‘that’ Alexander… The witch cobbled her composure back together as Silica officially introduced herself. ”My name’s Pitta, and you guessed correctly,” she answered. The witch looked back and forth between her and Sam. Both of them seemed particularly giddy about the ritual she had just performed. ”Admittedly, I didn’t quite get the results I was looking for with that little summoning of mine. I was trying to get into contact with the soul of the man who I inherited my magic from. I haven’t been able to track him down in the afterlife, and figured that it would be a lot easier to bring him to me instead. I’m not entirely positive what it was that answered my call, but it sure as hell wasn’t Bannak. That’s what I get for skipping ahead...” she grumbled the last sentence partially under her breath. ”To answer your other question, Sam, my magic’s a bit eclectic. I mostly just work through my predecessor’s notes and replicate his work. Manifesting this power and bending it to my will has been a bit of a slow process to put it lightly. Now let’s see what we have here.” Pitta then turned her attention to the skull she was still holding onto. Thankfully, being able to appraise certain objects was all part of the job. When hunting for reagents, you had to have at least some idea about what you were looking at. The skull looked fairly normal at first glance. However, it felt like it had an almost otherworldly aura about it. As she inspected it, she realized it only weighed maybe half as much as it should have, yet the bone itself felt much stronger than a normal specimen. Pitta traced a cheek bone with the tip of her thumb when she noticed how the light hit it. It had almost an opalescent sheen to it that would have been super easy to miss had the weather been a bit more dreary. Wait a minute… Was this the genuine article? She looked back to Sam with a questioning look. “How the hell did you manage to get your hands on the skull of a Kai?” Sam Aeil Silica
